Fantasia with the North Carolina Symphony
I’ll be playing in a really fun concert with the North Carolina Symphony this weekend! We’ll be screening the Walt Disney animated classic Fantasia, with the symphony playing the soundtrack live. This is a wonderful marriage of old school animation techniques with great music including Respighi’s Pines Of Rome, Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite, Carnival Of The Animals, the Nutcracker Suite, and more! I might add that there are some juicy keyboard parts in there. Showtimes are Thursday night at 7:30, Friday and Saturday at 8, and a Saturday matinee at 3. Tickets are available here.
