Summer Sightreading Challenge Winners

Congratulations to Logan (pictured above) and Sean (pictured below) for winning (1st and 2nd place respectively) the Summer Sightreading Challenge!  Of course we’re all winners but these two won non-invisible prizes, Peruvian artwork straight from Peruvia!  I picked it up there in June.  Thanks to everyone who participated a little or a lot.  The goal was to enjoy reading music, and to learn that good music making doesn’t always require hours and hours of practice.  We had a lot of contenders for the top spot but Logan clinched it in Rhythm Week, when he powered through nearly a whole unit in the Basics In Rhythm book (which all of you now have or will have next week).

Sorry Sammy for cropping you out of the picture!
