Recital prep performance class no. 1
We had some really wonderful performances Saturday night of music by J.S. Bach, William Gillock, and John Williams. We also had a few new faces, including our special guest Janelle True, who sang and played a few of her songs for us. The kids are doing a great job getting ready for the recital on May 2, and we have one more performance class on April 19 to give them even more experience playing for one another. Thanks also parents for getting your kids here and helping out with food.
I’ll be traveling to Washington, D.C. this week accompanying the Cary Christian School chamber choir. We’ll be performing at the National Cathedral, Arlington National Cemetery, the Lincoln Memorial, and possibly even at the White House! I’ll try to post some pictures after the trip but in the meantime, enjoy your week off from piano lessons!
