My recent presentation at GIML Conference!
Last month I had the honor of attending the 7th International Conference on Music Learning Theory in Chicago. It was wonderful to be with other like minded educators and learn new ideas and methods to help our students along their musical journey.
I was also asked by my friend Sarah McCaffrey Ritchie to co-present in a session outlining the benefits of MLT training for young children using the revolutionary Keyboard Games books by Marilyn Lowe. Marilyn presented with us, as well as the outstanding teacher and administrator Krista Jadro, who created Music Learning Academy to help piano teachers around the world transition into new more effective ways of teaching.
The four of us had a great time presenting and hope we planted some good seeds. The audience was music educators, but prospective students and families may be interested in watching as well. So here it is!
